The Bullet Reviews comes to an end

A few months ago, I decided that The Bullet will no longer be updated with new reviews and interviews. The Bullet has been running for nearly five years and has taken us places we never thought we would end up! It was a great project, that I loved working on, but it’s time for new things.

I would like to thank everyone who has ever submitted a review, every band that we have worked with and all the people that helped us out through the years! The TBR-team: you have been wonderful! Thank you so much for all the time and effort you put in to the site. Please stay in touch!

The reviews will remain online, there is no reason to take them down just yet. So feel free to browse through the site and read a few things. Our favourites? Our 2005 interview with Ville Valo in Amsterdam, the Bromheads interview in 2006 and of course the one with Paavo from Finnish cello-metal band Apocalyptica in 2007. Good times! As for the reviews, every team member has personal highlights. Some shows were unforgettable. Some albums life changing. Others just plain awful. You can find them all on the website.

As for myself, I miss writing reviews and articles. I’m sure some project involving writing will be developed in the near future, or maybe I will join an existing one instead of creating one myself again. In the mean time I have used the space I have on TBR to start this general blog, where you will also find the occasional review because I just can’t help myself. Entries are in English, some in Dutch.

See you around! Feel free to comment on anything you see/read here!
